Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (with Honors), University Of Detroit (Detroit, Michigan); Juris Doctoris degree (with Honors), Wayne State University Law School (Detroit, Michigan); Licensed to practice law in Michigan; Registered since 1985 to practice before the United States Patent And Trademark Office; Registered as non-resident patent agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office; Professional experience as Patent Office examiner, and as partner in the law firm of Weiner, Carrier, Burt & Esser, P.C.; He also makes frequent trips to Japan.


William D. Blackman

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, including Honors Chemistry Program, Eastern Michigan University (Ypsilanti, Michigan); Juris Doctoris degree, Wayne State University Law School (Detroit, Michigan); Licensed to practice law in Michigan; Registered since 1986 to practice before the United States Patent And Trademark Office; Professional experience in automotive engineering research and development, including employment with Ford Motor Company and General Motors.


Fulchand P. Shende, PH.D.

Doctoral degree in Engineering, Queen's University (Kingston, Canada); Registered professional engineer; Passed the Patent Bar Examination administered by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and granted limited recognition to practice patent cases before the USPTO, Professional experience in multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including industrial ventures, research and development, and academics; Currently attending the Wayne State University Law School as a candidate for a Juris Doctorate degree.


Anne M. Carrier

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (summa cum laude), University of Detroit Mercy (Detroit, Michigan); Juris Doctoris degree, Wayne State University Law School (Detroit, Michigan); Licensed to practice law in Michigan; Professional experience in computer and controls engineering with Visteon Corporation and Veridian Engineering.


Erica Briggs

Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics, Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan); Attended graduate school of University of Southern California (Los Angeles); Professional experience in teaching science at elementary through college level, and in intellectual property law since 1993.


Jeffrey T. Gedeon

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor); Master of Science in Information Systems, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor); Juris Doctor, Michigan State University – College of Law (E. Lansing); Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan; Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 2005; Professional experience in computer programming, web and database development, and computer networking.
